Tips for Brazil Philodendron hydro babies:
- This plant has been living in water (hydro) and has water roots.
- Brazil Philodendron babies can be happily planted in soil, keep the soil moist initially while the plant grows soil roots. Don’t give it too large a pot!
- You can also keep Brazil Philodendron permanently in water (hydro), or in LECA (semi hydro). But, it is important to feed hydro and semi-hydro plants with good quality fertiliser – we love Dyna-Grow Foliage Pro.
- The variegation of your Brazil Philodendron will depend on the amount of light it receives. Too much light and you may start to get light green leaves with less variegation. Keep an eye on your new growth and adjust the position of your plant as necessary.
